Thistle & Moonlace started in lockdown, although we didn’t know it yet, the seeds were already sown and slowly beginning to grow strong roots. Roots that have actually been developing since I was a young child, finding magic in the cosy spots and gardens I visited, played in and cast my spells.

My name is Bettie, I'm a 30 year old flower growing creative. Being a self employed surface designer for many years, I turned to gardening in lockdown to relieve anxiety and stress, I quickly realised how important fresh air and having my fingers buried in the mud was in order for me to function day to day.

After years of following my intuition, gaining and developing knowledge on how to grow flowers and food, discovering how to dry and preserve flowers, whilst also attending classes on how to beautifully arrange the Flora and Fauna. I am now ready to embrace Thistle & Moonlace at its full power and I want to share it with you. 

Thistle &  Moonlace was created with the soul intention of not only providing a haven for myself but for communities through providing insightful and empowering workshops. I am dedicating my time on our planet to intuitively and respectfully grow flowers that don’t cost the earth and are not covered in harmful chemicals and will always be grown in peat free medium.
